A Sequence allows you to set the Default Data value of a field or meta data item to an automatically generated number. The value is generated at the AMS gateway when the message is received and then returned to the device where it is inserted into the sent message. There are options to control the style of the generated number like padding. The same sequence can be used in multiple templates.
